Walk Test Facilities
Walk testing is a programmable facility available on most modern alarm control boxes. The facility allows the alarm to be tested, one device at a time. As each zone is triggered a loud bleep is sounded. This bleep only sounds when the zone is operated, and can therefore be used to walk around the premises, testing each detection device and its range and coverage, without having to reset the whole system each time.
